Lessons

School year lessons begin August 17, 2026. Summer lessons begin the first full week of July. I am not available to call or text on Sundays. Do contact me for cancellations on other days. If you are more than 10 minutes late, I will assume you aren't coming and the door will be locked.

When are there no lessons?

(Subject to change)​

• Teacher training: 1st 2 weeks of August

• Labor Day: Monday, Sep 7

• Family Vacation + Fall Break: Fri-Mon, Oct 9-19

• Thanksgiving: Wed-Sat, Nov 25-28​

• Christmas Break: Dec 21-Jan 2

• President's Day: Monday, Feb 15

• School Event: Tuesday, March 2, 5:30-7:30(Reschedule)

• Spring Break: April 5-April 10

• Last 2 weeks of May

• Month of June

• July 4th & 24th

• There are lessons on Holiday Mondays. You can schedule mornings on those days with this link.

Cancellations 

*If you let me know before payment is sent out for the month about canceling your lesson, payment will be cancelled for that lesson.

     *If the teacher previously cancelled a lesson before payment is sent out, you do not pay for that day.​​

*Each month is paid the same amount unless the teacher or student cancelled before the first of the month, if we have a break, or if there is a 5th week in that month.

     *Students who give 24-hour notice of an absence due to illness or emergency are eligible for a make-           up lesson. If there is no emergency, there is no reschedule. 

*Rescheduled lessons are on Fridays.

Monthly Fees

*Q: When is payment due? 

       The 1st of every month

*Q: If there are 5 weeks in the month instead of 4, should I pay for that lesson?

      Yes, the monthly pay is for 4 weeks which means the 5th week will need to be added to the total

 

*Q: Is there a discount if more than one child in a family takes lessons from me?

      Yes, there is a 5% discount 

 

Q: How can I pay?

     Venmo is preferable

 

Q: Do I get a refund if I stop taking lessons before the month is out?

     There are no refunds
